Privacy Policy

Martin Japheth Photography respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information.

When you make an enquiry, book a photography service, attend a photoshoot, purchase images, or access an online gallery, we may collect and use personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, booking details, payment details, event information, gallery access details, and photographs or video in which you may be identifiable.

We use this information to manage enquiries, confirm bookings, provide photography services, deliver galleries and products, process payments, communicate with you, maintain business records, and, where permission has been given or where there is a legitimate business reason, showcase selected work in portfolios, websites, social media, printed samples, or marketing material.

Where children are photographed, images will only be used for public promotion with appropriate permission from a parent or legal guardian.

Your information may be processed using trusted third-party services such as gallery hosting platforms, website providers, payment processors, print labs, email providers, and accounting systems. These services are only used where necessary to provide our services or run the business.

We will not sell your personal information. We will only share it where necessary to provide our service, comply with legal obligations, protect our business, or where you have given consent.

Client images and booking records may be retained for business, legal, accounting, archive, and portfolio purposes. Online galleries may remain available for a limited period, unless otherwise agreed.

You have rights under UK data protection law, including the right to request access to your personal information, ask for corrections, request deletion where appropriate, object to certain uses, and withdraw consent where consent is the lawful basis for processing.
